It is official. The environmental status report (ESR) prepared by Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has pointed out that green cover over all parts of city except west Nagpur has reduced to a great extent. The ESR for 2010-11 makes the claim citing the land cover study undertaken through remote sensing and maps prepared with the help of satellite imagery.
