Philippines Kicks Off Soil Fertility and Land Use Mapping

Provincial Agriculturist Nicolasito Calawag said that the Soil Fertility and Land Use Mapping (SFLUM) kicked off this week and will last until November this year. In his letter to all Municipal Agriculturist in the province, Calawag enjoined local government units to support this undertaking by providing logistical support and technical staff who will compose the team to be led by personnel from the Bureau of Soil and Water Management (BSWM) and Dept of Agriculture Regional Field Office 6 (DA-RFU6).
