South Australian Plan Promises to Stem Urban Sprawl

The South Australian Government has unveiled a plan that it says will protect almost 180,000 hectares of land in the Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale from housing. Residential growth would be restricted in the two protection zones, which take in towns such as Tanunda and Willunga. Other developments would have to be in line with regional character. Read More
