MGB-13 Concludes Bislig Geohazard Mapping, Assessment

The Geohazard Mapping and Assessment at 1:10,000 scale for the Bislig City, province of Surigao del Sur had been duly completed by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau, Caraga Region XIII for the month of April, 2011. Bislig City is the second of the eight (8) municipalities/cities being targeted by the office for this year’s geohazard mapping and assessment program in support to the national government’s goal of reducing, if not, totally mitigating the destructive effects and impacts of natural hazards on the populace.
