1Spatial Takes FME World Tour to Perth and Sydney in April/May

1Spatial, a Value Added Reseller of FME and the region’s only Platinum Partner of Safe Software, provides consulting services and training by Safe Certified Professionals and Trainers for both FME Desktop and FME Server, as well as providing workflow development services and support for FME Cloud.

There is no registration fee for attendance at the FME World Tour events, which will focus on:
·         Ensuring that existing users understand and can apply new FME capabilities
·         Enabling new users to explore how they can create harmony between their geospatial data and applications
·         Helping those who are considering FME to get all the information required to make an informed purchase decision.

At the Perth and Sydney events, attendees will learn how the new capabilities in FME 2015 can provide benefits to their geospatial data workflows, including how automated data transformation and application integration can now be run in the cloud. Attendees will also be able to:
·         Build FME skills through how-to and best practice sessions
·         Get tips and practical new ideas via presentations from FME users
·         Receive technical assistance from FME Certified Professionals
·         Network with FME users from other organisations and the wider FME Community.

“We know from surveys of Australian geospatial data users that many organisations are still hampered by manual geospatial data transformation processes,” said Martin Gregory, Country Manager for 1Spatial Australia. “The FME World Tour events in Perth and Sydney will demonstrate how new cloud-based solutions can address this and other issues such as geospatial data quality and integration between different datasets.”

Dates for the Australian leg of the FME World Tour 2015 will be:
·         29th April – Perth
·         1st May – Sydney
