SuperGIS-Powered TGOS Online Map Won Asia Geospatial Excellence Award

Held by Geospatial Media and Communications Pvt. Ltd., the world’s famous and credible media in geo-related industries, Asia Geospatial Forum 2014 is going to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia in providing professionals, researchers and officers an idea-exchanging platform.

The TGOS project was authorized by the Information Center at the Ministry of the Interior, Taiwan, to build a cloud GIS platform for the governmental officers from different divisions, private sectors, researchers and the public to easily access all the geospatial data in the single website, reducing data duplication waste and costs.

TGOS combines with diverse thematic maps and various types of data from different departments, such as emergency shelter location, satellite imagery, e-maps, and population statistics and so on. Also, using the abundant Map APIs, users can apply the TGOS maps effortlessly and customize their own map websites, eg. timely plan the route and perform buffer analysis online for different uses.

Supergeo and the representative from Ministry of the Interior, Taiwan, will receive the award in the conference, and share the geospatial solution with worldwide attendees.
