Korea’s Spatial Information Expo to Open in August

In addition, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) is holding an idea competition on spatial information usage from July 14 to Aug. 26 to encourage people’s interest in space and stimulate the usage of spatial information.

This competition is one of the events in world-class Smart Geospatial Expo 2014, which includes the exhibition of new technology and products related to spatial information, a high-level ministerial forum, entrepreneur exhibition, and international conference. It is divided into four categories, which are “app development,” “big data usage,” “spatial information policy proposals,” and “best practices of spatial information usage.” Everyone who is interested in spatial information can participate.

Those who wish to participate should submit the application for participation and finished work from July 14 to 25 at Smart Geospatial Expo 2014 webpage, www.smartgeoexpo.kr
