Mizoram University Enhances Educational Quality of Geology with SuperGIS Desktop Solutions

Founded in 2001, Mizoram University is located in Mizoram with eight faculties such as Physical Science, Education and Humanities, Engineering and Technology, and Earth Science. With the aim of developing talented young geologists to support local geological projects for local governments, the department of Geology continues improving resources to facilitate constant innovation in teaching and learning methods.

Featuring advanced data processing functions and plentiful GIS tools, SuperGIS Desktop 3.1a allows the educators and the students to integrate, visualize, edit, and manage all types of geological data of ancient creatures, stratums, minerals, etc. and create geologic maps with ease.

In addition, SuperGIS Analysts including SuperGIS 3D Analyst, Spatial Analyst, Spatial Statistical Analyst, and Network Analyst were also used to understand the real geologic phenomenon with in-depth analyses. Therefore, the department is able to establish and implement research programs with reliable educational resources.

As the demand for geospatial solutions increases rapidly in India, Supergeo keeps promoting SuperGIS software to fulfill client’s needs by offering SuperGIS training sessions. Supergeo will collaborate closely with the RSI SOFTECH team to help local users effectively solve spatial problems using cost-effective SuperGIS software.
