Directorate of Soil Survey Offers Course on Remote Sensing, GIS and GNSS

The course will provide opportunity for capacity building of students, teachers and researchers in the field of remote sensing and GIS applications. The course will be in the distance education mode and there will  be no course fees. Graduates, faculty, and researchers at universities are eligible to apply for the course.

The course will be conducted from August 5 to November 4 and classes will be arranged from 4 pm to 5.30 pm, 3-4 days a week.

The classes will be arranged at the Geomatics lab of the Directorate of Soil Survey and Soil Conservation at Vazhuthacaud here. Application forms can be  obtained from the Directorate of Soil Survey and Soil Conservation, free of cost.

The filled-in application forms with attested copies of certificates and mark lists should reach the Directorate before July 15.
