SuperGIS Desktop 3.1a Stimulates Sustainable Human Settlements Development in Indonesia

Well infrastructure plays an importance role in facilitating sustainable development for developing countries. Serving as the key administration for establishing national development programs, the department employed GIS technology in formulating effective strategies to improve the quality of life of local residents and achieve a balance with regard to the social, environmental and economic goals.    
Taking the advantages of VBA tool and plentiful GIS functions by SuperGIS Desktop 3.1a, the policymakers of Department of Human Settlements and Spatial Planning can benefit by having a custom GIS platform to develop and implement various infrastructure and environment programs such as highway construction, flood control and regional development.
