DES Consulting Enters Partnership with e-GEOS S.p.A.

DES Consulting, headquartered in Singapore, is at the forefront of South Asia’s booming geospatial market and is a trusted partner to many of Asia’s leading organizations, DES provides state-of-the-art geospatial image and data analysis solutions. DES Consulting will serve the markets in Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore with this latest relationship to leverage the demands of the governments, enterprises and consumers for higher quality and updated data. The constellation of these satellites will be very helpful for monitoring purposes.
The COSMO-SkyMed system is a constellation of four radar satellites for Earth observation for dual (civil and military) use. Its purpose is to monitor the globe for the sake of emergency prevention (management of environmental risks), strategy (defence and national security), and scientific and commercial purposes, providing data on a global scale.
COSMO-SkyMed is also  at the forefront of global technology and uses high-resolution radar to observe the Earth day or night, regardless of weather conditions.
“An increasing number of regional organisations are looking for advanced imagery solutions in the market and our agreement with e-GEOS enables us to deliver our target market with an unrivalled strategic imaging offering,” said Ajith Menon, Chief Executive Officer at DES Consulting. “By providing easy access to SAR images, this partnership will enable users to rethink their traditional way of processing and analysing geospatial imagery.”
Through this agreement, DES Consulting will be able to offer COSMOS SkyMed imagery data to the ASEAN region.
