First 3D Malaysia 2013

The 1st 3D Malaysia 2013 with the theme “3D Data for Sustainable Development” aims to enable country development in Malaysia with knowledge on how 3D GIS data like DEM or DSM and data appliances are enhancing growth and development in urban infrastructure and other industries. “Participants can expect to benefit from the technology session in the morning and application session in the afternoon, which are chaired by industry experts from Intermap. The seminar will be an avenue where all stakeholders related to the geospatial industry can come together to learn about 3D GIS data in order to collaborate and expand the market.”, said Ajith Menon, CEO of DES Mapping Solutions.

The one-day seminar will feature keynote addresses by renowned professionals, power presentations by industry experts and exclusive networking opportunities. At the same time, there will also be an exhibition where solution providers will showcase their products and services to existing and potential customers. 3D Malaysia 2013 welcomes participants from a variety of sectors such as Civil Engineering, Surveying, Forestry, Water Management and Town Planning amongst many others.
