Earth Observation

The exhibition is curated by an Australian founder of the International Society for Digital Earth’s digital cities working party, Davina Jackson. Chairing both the ISDE cities working party and this exhibition’s international advisory panel is the Queensland CEO of the Spatial Industries Business Association, Richard Simpson.

Three floors of the City of Sydney’s Customs House at Circular Quay will be used for the display of imagery. The event takes place from 23 May to 20 July in conjuction with Sydney’s annual Vivid light festival.

The Spaceship Earth exhibit is a highlight of earth observation from the intergovernmental Group on Earth Observations (GEO) as well as the Digital Earth vidion coined by Al Gore in his book “Earth in the Balance.”
