ACG Solutions and Critical Response Group Announce Strategic Business Relationship to Significantly Transform First Responder Emergency Operations

ATLANTA and EWING, N.J. – ACG Solutions (ACG), and Critical Response Group, Inc. (CRG) today announced the two companies have formed a strategic business relationship that will significantly enhance the first responder accuracy benefits of ACG’s Synchronized Orchestrated Response (SOR™), a combination of networked, integrated technologies designed to save lives, protect property and reduce liability exposure.

CRG’s geospatially accurate graphics, known as Collaborative Response Graphics®, transform written and text-based emergency operations plans into a gridded, floor-by-floor overlay of high resolution imagery that first responders can access via their smart devices or computers. As a result, first responder teams can instantly visualize their physical location on the actual building plan in real time. The graphic display offers everything users need to know to coordinate emergency response inside and outside of a structure, including room labels, hallway names, external door/stairwell numbers, and key utility locations. The solution also provides a common operating picture and language for all responding emergency agencies and field commanders.

“With the rise in active shooter incidents, private- and public-sector organizations need to have confidence they can offer first responders all the critical information necessary to identify, pinpoint and mitigate a threat within their structure or campus as fast as possible,” Laura Faught, President and Chief Operations Officer, ACG Solutions. “CRG’s Collaborative Response Graphics break through traditional, ‘static’ plans to accomplish that.”

Strong Public Sector Endorsements and Adoption

CRG’s Collaborative Response Graphics are in use in more than 300 schools, as well as multiple commercial buildings and transportation hubs throughout the United States. In addition, police chief’s associations from Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Indiana have recognized the use of CRG’s products as a best practice when it comes to planning for and responding to active threat incidents.

According to Phil Coyne, President of CRG, the company’s aim is to revolutionize first responder planning and responses during emergency situations. “Taken as a whole, our endorsements reflect a fundamental market need for powerful, new generation emergency response tools,” said Coyne. “We are pleased that ACG has selected our visual communication and collaboration tools to fulfill a vision of offering a holistic, one-stop framework to help organizations overcome the complex challenge of coordinating an emergency response involving first responders from multiple agencies operating and communicating in an unfamiliar location.”

About SOR

SOR encompasses surveillance, gunshot and motion detection technologies, access controls and cameras, lock down procedures and more, to help prevent injuries and loss of life while keeping structural damage to a minimum. Offered under a framework of interoperable technology, policy and process, components of SOR can be sold individually or bundled to meet each customer’s specific needs. The moment SOR™ detects a threat, the lockdown protocol is activated, and authorities are notified with real-time actionable information that pinpoints the location of the threat, enabling the authorities to deploy resources to rapidly eliminate it.
