GEO Business 2018: Over 75% of Space Already Booked for UK’s Largest Geospatial Event

GEO Business – the UK’s largest geospatial exhibition and conference, is well on track for another successful edition next year, when it returns to the Business Design Centre, in London, on 22-23 May 2018.

Since its record-breaking 2017 event, just over three months ago, which welcomed 2,386 geomatics and geospatial professionals from around the world, stands have been selling at an unprecedented rate. Organisers, Diversified Communications UK, are urging new suppliers looking to reach this important market to book early to ensure their place.

“GEO Business 2017 was our most successful yet – with an amazing 19% increase in attendees. And it wasn’t just about the numbers – it was the quality of visitors that really got our exhibitors’ attention,” says show director Caroline Hobden.

“The aisles were packed with senior managers and decision makers working in architecture, construction, engineering, housing associations, councils, and many more. Exactly the people, our exhibitors want to do business with. The high demand for our 2018 show certainly reflects this.

“Past exhibitors were given just two weeks to rebook their stand. The majority confirmed straight away which also means that they will benefit from the complimentary 30 minute speakers slot which is offered to those companies that book early enough. Since then, new requests have been flooding in. It really does demonstrate just how important and essential GEO Business has become to the industry it serves. We have no doubt that GEO Business 2018 will sell out well in advance,” she says.

Confirmed exhibitors for 2018 already include Topcon, Trimble, Leica Geosystems, Ordnance Survey, CHC Navigation, Phoenix Survey and Safety Equipment and Bentley Systems.

“We are pleased to be part of GEO Business 2018. The event has now become an annual one for us due to the engagements, contacts and the ability to showcase our content to the right audience. We are proud to be associated with the organisers,” says Oluwaseyi Oke, regional marketing manager at Bentley Systems.

Long-time supporter of GEO Business, Andy Roberts from Formby Surveys said “Year on year I’m increasingly impressed by what GEO Business has to offer a business like ours and I’ll certainly be attending GEO Business 2018”.

GEO Business will return to the Business Design Centre, in Islington, London, on 22-23 May 2018. The 2018 event will be using the same winning formula designed to maximise face-to-face interaction between exhibitors and customers: a two-day international exhibition of the latest technology and services; a programme of commercial workshop sessions; a cutting-edge conference addressing the key technical and business issues in the industry, and finally, visitors can also look forward to a full line-up of enjoyable social events for informal networking.
